Units

Units are the way you organize your coursework - a unit can be a week of the course, a chapter of the textbook, a general course topic, or anything you want. You can use multiple units throughout the course, or you can put all the work in a single unit. Each assignment is part of only one unit, though a unit can have any number of assignments.

Types

Types are used to differentiate your assignments. The type you give an assignment correlates to the kind of work that is entailed -- is it a paper or a quiz, a forum post or class participation? You can use our default types or add your own specific to the assignments you give in this course. Each assignment has one type.
