To me persuasion is authentic and charisma is deceitful. When you are persuading someone to do something it is straightforward and right to the point while using charisma is beating around the bush and sugar coating. Although charisma is seen as having charm it becomes negative when comparing to persuasion. The art of actually having to change ones mind makes persuasion and charisma one in the same no matter if positive or negative. Having this skill is important in business communication because everyone will not always agree with your ideas but it is your job to convince them you are right. This will come in handy when trying to recruit investors, sponsors, or distributors. Donald Trump is someone I think has charisma. He may not be charming to some but he has his ways of getting his point across. His boldness and no regard for others feelings allows him to appeal to a crowd in a different way. He uses his eccentric behavior to gather followers and get them to agree with his causes. It may not be the usual charisma we are used to but it is still charisma. Feminists who protest at Trump's meetings are persuasive. They use graphic yet accurate posters, marches, and speeches to get their point across and show evidence. Their tactics are almost demanding but straight to the point giving their audience the ability to relate and change their minds.
