I currently work in an environment where communication is everything. My plan is to learn as much as I can to improve my communication skills. Email is one of my main sources of communication. Every day I send emails to company leadership, customers, peers, and stakeholders. It is very important that the emails I send are grammatically correct and the tone must fit the recipient. On a day to day basis I use email a minimum of ten hours a day. I am currently employed by T-Mobile. Our organization would suffer tremendously from poor email communication. In the wireless industry communication is a priority. For example, I email my customers a recap of any changes or updates that I make to their account. The emails that I send to my customers are not personal, therefore; I make sure the information I provide is grammatically correct and accurate. An email that is sent with an error can be costly to the organization and my reputation as an employee. I always proofread any form of written communication for errors.
