Why do you think it is important to conduct an audience analysis prior to giving a presentation? Give examples.

It is imortant to conduct an audience analysis prior to giving a presentation because I feel that it is imortant to examine information about your listeners in order for that analysis to help you adapt your message so that your listeners can respond as you would like them to. For example, if you go on a date, youll explain the details of that date differently to your parents than you would to your sister or best friends. In each, you'll get a rsponse how you would like to recieve.

Sherita, your answer is somewhat like mines and I agree with you on it 100%. I feel that you are suppose to persuade your audience so that your speech/presentation won`t be seen as failuer to them.

I also agree with you Eddie. I feel as if you should connect with your audience so that you can get a better outcome from your speech/presentation. If you go up there and talk about anything or get off topic, people tend to be uninterested and bored and that will count as somewhat failure even if your speech is very good.
