2. Week 4 is still open. If you did not submit your Negative News Letter, please do so by 11:55 p.m. tonight.

3. There is no way you can get the last question on the test incorrect, so why not answer it! Always make an attempt to answer EVERY question - don't give up and don't leave questions unanswered.

Finally, you are a unique Cohort with various talents. I hope that you can stay together throughout this journey and continue to be each other's support system. Stay focused!

Half-way Home!

Thank you for the great work that you submitted during Week 2. This week will be particularly interesting as you will create your "Elevator Pitch!" As challenging as it may appear, you will have fun with it. Just remember to include the high points when you are convincing the audience to do business with you. For example, an automobile commercial doesn't reveal the fine print, only the information to get you to the dealership! Another example would be a fast food commercial. Have fun with this assignment. I can't wait to see this one! Be creative!

As always, if you have questions or concerns, please text or call me at 205-516-2205 or by email at

Last December, former Deputy Minister of Tourism and incumbent deputy in Japan Tsukas Yakimoto was arrested for taking bribes from a Chinese gambling operator. The politician is accused of receiving a bribe of $ 27,000 from a company from China

According to investigators, Yakimoto received a bribe in his office on September 28. The prosecutor's office noted that the bribe of the ex-minister was committed as a donation to his election campaign.

As it turned out, a bribe of $ 27,000 was not the only one during Yakimoto’s tenure as Deputy Minister of Tourism. The politician also received $ 18,200 in additional payments. These funds are now seized.
