I spend at least an hour sporadically responding to emails on a daily basis depending on what the task is for the day. In my case my organization would suffer from poor email communication because I am an entrepreneur and a new business owner and I also conduct emails through my poetry page on social media so if I am not prompt with responding to emails it could have a negative impact on my brand. Since I deal with the public it would be considered rude to not communicate in a timely manner and also dealing with customers they look at it as poor business practice if you do not have an effective way for them to contact you and actually get a response in return. A great example of how poor email communication could have a negative effect on a business is recently I set up a new website for my business this was the first time I used this particular company for website building so when I had issues with certain areas of the website I contacted them several times in one day I never received a response from them the next day I attempted to contact them again I had to go through their third party contacts to get a response from them at that point I didn't even want to do business with them and I ended up taking my business elsewhere.

Good Evening Albert, you are correct we do use email to communicate on a daily basis and in some organizations it is quite possible that they communicate via email at least half of the work day.  With today's advancements in technology email has become one of the easiest ways to communicate within an organization, so it is safe to say that poor email communication can have a negative impact on a business. Another good point is the fact that in some organization training may be necessary to ensure proper communication and a thriving business.

Good Evening Wyteria, I see that your organization utilizes email for better part of your work day and I think that may be a standard for most organizations these days. It is important that everyone checks there email first thing once their shift starts and also periodically throughout the day this ensures good email communication and a a balanced work environment.
