    There are eight components of the communication process:

    1. Source- creates and sends the message

    2. Message- meaning produced by the receiver or        audience

    3. Channel- the way messages travel between the source and receiver

    4. Receiver- how you analyze and interpret the message intended and unintended

    5. Feedback-when you respond intentionally or unintentionally

    6. Environment-where you send the message physical or psychological

    7. Context-setting the scene

    8. Interference-noise from any source

    Their are 8 components of communication

    • Source-imagines, creates, and sends the message. In public speaking the source is the person giving the speech
    • Message-Meaning produced by the source for the receiver or audience
    • Channel- It is the way in which a message travel between source or receiver  Like the television
    • Receiver-receives the message from the source, analyzing and interpreting message in both ways intended
    • Feedback-when you respond to the source intentionally or unintentionally. Feedback is composed of messages the receiver sends back to the source.
    • Environment- It is the atmosphere, physical, psychological, where you send and receive messages
    • Context- It involves the setting, scene, and expectations of individuals involved
    • Interference-noise  can come from any source
