<p>I've really done it this time. Opened the sunroof on my S90 yesterday morning because the weather was actually pleasant for once, and now it refuses to close. The motor makes a clicking sound like it's trying but the glass panel doesn't move at all. I've checked for obvious obstructions and there's nothing visible blocking the track, and the shade slides manually without issue so it's specifically the glass mechanism that's failed. I've currently got a garbage bag taped over the opening which looks absolutely ridiculous on a Volvo but I'm terrified of a surprise rain shower destroying the interior. Need an <a href="https://dynostarworkshop.com/volvo-repair-dubai/">Al Quoz certified Volvo workshop</a> that can either force it closed or fix the mechanism properly, ideally somewhere that can see me today because this garbage bag situation isn't exactly secure. Dynostar came up when I was frantically searching and they list Volvo sunroof repair specifically which is encouraging. Anyone else with a Volvo had a sunroof fail in the open position and can tell me if there's a manual override to close it, I've seen some cars have a hidden crank somewhere but I can't find anything in the S90 manual about it? Also wondering if this is typically a track alignment issue or if the motor assembly usually needs replacing on these, trying to mentally prepare for the damage to my wallet. The car is a 2018 and otherwise has been flawless, of course it would be something like this rather than a simple mechanical issue.</p>
