    LAVONNE BARCLAY's answers

To me, the difference between active voice  and passive voice is the timing or verb tense that is being used. For example, if l had to talk with someone about doing something, I would have to be direct and now. If I wanted April to be at work at 10 a.m., I would use an active voice and say to April, "be at work at 10 a.m." If I wanted to use passive voice, I would say to April, "you may want to be at work at 10 a.m.," I would be giving April an option, not telling April what she needs to do. I believe in business communication resources, active voice is preferred rather than passive because active is more definitive and genuine. When you are in the business profession, people need to see that you are confident and knowledgeable about what it is that you are doing.

    Khandi Tankey's answers

Active voice is the sentence structure in which the subject carries out the action. Passive voice is the sentence structure in which the subject receives the action. Business communication resources prefer active voice because sentences tend to be shorter, more precise, amd easier to understand.
