The same can be said about domyhomeworkonline School Teachers where they choose Not to be controlled by some union. This is nothing more than temporarily hired extra income positions for students, retirees, parents & teachers trying to help the kids.

Re: Nonverbal Communications
Posted in Collaboration > Forums on 2/1/2017 7:24:43 PM

Is there ever any doubt in your mind as to the mood of a coworker upon their arrival at work? Nonverbal communication is the single most powerful form of communication.  With that in mind, discuss how important nonverbal communications are when dealing with customers. Give an example of a time when you have experienced miscommunication based on nonverbal communications.

Professor Wells,

Nonverbal communication is the most important. Customers will see you body language before you ever speak a single word. If you want to be able to communicate effectively with customers, you will need to anticipate not only their needs, but also how they communicate. They are far more likely to communicate with someone whom they perceive as being like them, than with a perceived stranger. From dress to mannerisms and speech patterns. I experience nonverbal miscommunication a lot when ordering from my local Chinese restaurant. I only order from this restaurant when I'm ordering for my big family and they actually serve family sized meals. There is always the same person at the front counter, her English is terrible and that is one of my biggest pet peeves. I get upset when I'm trying to give a company my business and the person on the receiving of my money/business cant speak proper English. I think she can sense my attitude because she gives it to me before I can ever open my mouth to order.

Eddie, You're right! Your facial expression, and appearance will tell a person just how you feel about them and yourself before speaking a word in your business and personal lives. It was very important to keep a pleasant approachable face and demeanor. By doing so, it opens up the doors for a positive first encounter and possible relationship in the future. If you want to be able to communicate effectively with customers, you will need to anticipate not only their needs, but also how they communicate. They are far more likely to communicate with someone whom they perceive as being like them, than with a perceived stranger. From dress to mannerisms and speech patterns

Rita,

My manager was pretty good at letting us know non verbally that she did not want us talking to her, asking for her help or even walking into her office where she housed certain files needed to do our daily jobs. Her appearance was always nice and clean, but her attitude was nasty! The rolling of her eyes when someone entered her office after knocking and being invited in is how we were always greeted. She would also slam pens on her desk of you had a question. She needed management and communication training over again. As you stated "each movement shows feelings" When working in the public or with small group, your foul movement need to be checked at the door.

Rita,

She was beyond rude. She was evil. Her nonverbal communication was terrible and I pray she's not somewhere doing the same thing to another group of people as it was very horrible to endure daily.

Eddie, I think as a manger you should NEVER display nonverbal communication because it can be taken all kinds of ways. You should always want your communication to be pleasant and clear with your employees.
